NYCFC’s captain David Villa has been named in the latest Spain squad by Julen Lopetegui. “He gives us mobility and is eager,” said Julen Lopetegui. David Villa is Spain’s all-time top scorer, with 59 goals in 97 appearances. Villa joins the 26-man squad to face Italy (Sept. 2) and Liechtenstein (Sept.5) in the World Cup qualifiers.
