NYCFC’s captain David Villa was one of the big names that headlined the MLS All-Star roster for its game against Real Madrid. Villa got the start for Paunovic’s line-up as part of an attacking trident with Sebastian Giovinco and Jozy Altidore. Real Madrid needed penalty kicks to defeat the best players in MLS in the 2017 MLS All-Star Game.
