Waylon Francis signs with Seattle Sounders

The left back defender Waylon Francis has signed with the MLS side Seattle Sounders FC. The Costa Rican international and 2015 MLS All-Star selection made 83 MLS appearances in four seasons with the Crew and recorded 18 assists. He also made seven playoff appearances, including the 2015 MLS Cup against the Portland Timbers. Seattle Sounders acquired the rights to Francis from Columbus in exchange for $50,000 in General Allocation Money.
